The KNCT Wine Classic is a fundraising event for public radio station KNCT FM and public television station KNCT TV. Guests can sample an array of domestic and imported wines from a complimentary KNCT Wine Classic wine glass and enjoy a delectable assortment of appetizers perfect for pairing with wine. 7-10pm Tickets are $60 in advance, $70 at the door.
Sommeliers Select Tasting 6-10pm
At the Sommeliers Select Tasting we’ll be pouring wines specially selected by local sommeliers Steve Hanik, Leah McGee and Clinton Harwell. The wines will be paired with the perfect food for the ultimate wine tasting experience. Wine regions highlighted at this tasting will be from the regions of Europe, California and Texas. Ticket includes entrance to both the Sommeliers Select Tasting and the Grand Tasting. Tickets are $100 per person

The Global Summit on Oncology and Cancer is a yearly gathering to assist honing suppliers stay aware of the most recent advances in Oncology. The current year's meeting is booked to occur May 25-27, 2017 in Osaka Japan and will help suppliers address true issues on how and when to ideally coordinate these new treatments into their clinical practice, furthermore give understanding into new advances in Cancer related focused on treatments that are relied upon to report new information in 2017. This meeting is for rehearsing oncologists, haematologists, look into colleagues, and medical caretakers.
This course includes understanding the laws that govern pharmacy (Whether federal or state-mandated), prepare and distribute medications, define medical and pharmaceutical terms and common abbreviations, understand pharmacology of medications in relation to the anatomy affected, and perform pharmaceutical calculations.
After completion of this program, you will be able to: explain the HIPAA Privacy Rule and the HIPAA Security Rule, assign accurate codes from the ICD-9-CM, ICD-10CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding manuals, develop an insurance claim, and recognize health insurances delivered by private companies and government-sponsored programs.
Medical Assistants can perform a variety of skilled administrative and clinical tasks. This program prepares students to perform the following skills: prepare exam rooms and interview patients, measure and record vital signs, administer injections, as well as topical or oral medications, and perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing
An EKG Technician performs EKG testing, coordinates Holter monitoring and performs stress tests in a hospital laboratory, doctor’s office or clinic. This course provides instruction in EKG unit operation and troubleshooting, lead placement utilizing 12 lead EKG, use and understanding of EKG grid paper, recognizing normal and abnormal EKG patterns in all 12 leads and plotting EKG axis.
QuickBooks is a financial management solution recommended by accountants. The course will identify procedures to complete a computerized accounting cycle and perform initial installation and start-up procedures.
